So I pick up the latest issue of "Tactical Knives" Hoping there is an artical on one of Jerry's baby's. No babies.
There was on the cover a fixed blade knife with micarta handles and what looked like the same "crinkle finish" that is on my Battle Mistress! I think it looks better on my BM though.
My Bm has an interesting role in our family. My children know where it is at all times. It is referred to simply as "dad's Busse" They seem to get a feeling of security from it. I find it in their room if the storm weather radio goes off and they are scared. or if I have to leave them alone to answer a page in the middle of the night. We live in a gated comunity and the only thing sneaking into our yard at night might be an armadillo.
I am ashamed to say the most I have put it through is when the kids want one of those deli whole chickens at the grocery store I cut it up. I'm happy to say after 4 deli chickens no damage can be found on this knife.
I love to read Cliff's posts (Cliff notes) on what he puts his knives through. If I was a knife maker I wouldn't sleep good at night knowing he was wondering around in his garage bored with one of my knives.
well enough rambling I love to lurk on this forum and every now and then I get the courage to post.
Is that Tops laser strike knife on the cover using the same crinkle finish you think?
