Case 6275 SP Moose in "red bone" from 1940 - 1964. The clip blade has a long pull, which dates it to "early in the Case XX years and are fairly rare" as per Steve Pfeiffer's book. I bought it from a friend who said he found it in an old shed.

This Case mini trapper was superbly well made. No gaps, no bad transitions, great consistent dark red colour right through the bone on both sides.

Not the best picture but it is a very nice rich blood red GEC 54 SFO from a few years back. A nice handful of spear blade knife at just over 4 inches.

Flip side of what I posted in the Newest Case thread earlier. The red bone was pretty consistent on both sides of both knives.

My new full size Case Trapper in smooth cherry bone. A nice knife over all. Not disappointed with the fit and finish at all. I like red and this truly does have that cherry shade.

I included my smooth dark red bone mini trapper just to give some it some proportion and colour comparison.
