Ready for Ashokan?

You guys that are going to Ashokan all ready? Its coming up fast. I was wondering if any one was going to be bringing some materials for sale. I was hoping to have some stabilized wood but I did not get it sent out soon enough.

I am very much looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Heck just getting to go to the East coast area is going to be cool.

My spear still is not ready but I think I should be able to get it done before then. I did get some ash I just have to do some shaping.
 
I am pretty ready, sure would have liked to finish one more sword (and actually start the spear), but ah well. See you guys there.
 
I'll be heading up. I'm trying to get froday off so I can make it the WHOLE weekend. I am really excited as this is my first time going.

I'm about ready. I forged the ishizuki this afternoon, and had the missus run the HT while I was out this evening. A little cleanup, an etch and it is done.

I'm psyched! Gonna bring some "show'n'tell" but that's about it. I just like to hang with other makers as I don't get much of that around here. I like to see what people are selling, maybe pick up some little stuff. Agree with the Monday off too...it's a late night for me getting back. See ya'll there!!!!

Tell me about it. I step over the blade every time I walk into the shop....
 
I cut my little finger pretty good yesterday while wiping down the naginata blade. Yep. its sharp!
