REAL Malachite scales on knives looks a lot different that the plastic stuff being sold as "reconstituted" malachite. Just be aware that nearly all sellers claiming to use stone for scales are not in fact using REAL stone. They are using plastic with rock dust mixed in with the plastic.

For those who like Buck 110's - here is what one looks like in REAL Malachite.

I have even done a Buck 112 in REAL Malachite! I only in about the past year figured out how to deal with the drop down front bolster effectively so now Buck 112's are part of my "normal" inventory.
