Hi!
I couldn't find anything about the Mini 127 II here at BF, what kinda surprises me.
Because this cool little fixed blade could be a real alternative to folders.

It's very light with only 58g/71g with sheath and small: 127mm overall length (guess where its name comes from)
The grip feels very confident and because of the blade's hole I have a lot of controll for precise work.
It's even so slim that I have to double check my pocket if it's still there. ;)
The quality is flawless like every Real Steel knife.
Only the sharpness out of the box is not very impressive - maybe 7/10 sharpness points.
But after reprofiling to ~15° per side and polishing the edge it's crazy sharp.
The reprofiling was surprisingly easy with the use of very coarse whetstones. No problem with Real Steel's D2 here.
Only the sheath became a little bit loose after reprofiling.

I think this knife is comparable to a Delica - it can be easily carried and has about the same cutting edge length.
But with one huge plus for me:
There is no conflict with the german knife law!
(One hand operated locking knives are BAD - fixed blades < 120mm are GOOD)

So what are your experiences with this little knife or do you guys think a "pocket fixed blade" can never replace a folder?

Oh, and of course some pictures! ;)

I have one real steel knife and like it.I also like a good small fixed blade. Not so much with the finger hole in the blade.
