Really Poor Bucklite Max Folder

Just got it back last Friday. Works and looks great. Thanks Buck, great warranty!

Appreciate the factory effort, less than a month -- and the lateral play (side to side) is very minimal now, quite acceptable.
BUT the vertical play is still pretty poor. You'd think with a lock back knife, this would be the easiest part to get rigid. I'm surprised to see it seems to be same knife, figured they'd just replace it, being a cheapie.

Hate to carp, but I've had some pretty poor luck with some Buck purchases over the last few months:

- this 486, still quite sub par.

- 2 Gents that I had engraved as gifts. Just really wobbly blades, bargain bin gun show quality. Pretty, but just crummy.

- Ecolite 110, also with quite poor vertical lockup. Really surprised with this one. It was a factory blem, but not supposed to affect actual construction quality.

- Vantage Force Avid. Only got it last week. I have 3 other Vantages, all fine, but this one won't flip worth a flip, unless I loosen pivot to where it's quite wobbly too. Maybe has to do with the friction of the black coating on blade, but seems that would have been accounted for somehow, since the description as to its easy opening facility is so glowing on site. Somewhat more disturbing is that the frame lock goes all the way over to the opposite side, there's no room for wear, so I expect it to loosen up vertically over time.

Might send the 110 and the Vantage into shop. I dunno. Seems like a crap shoot as to whether they be much improved?

Sigh.
