Really Really thick belts?

You better have enough leather left to go around my fatass ;) could go with the 1/4" SJ:) or one of the blanks.

The infamous BMF wallet is stuck in limbo till I find that darn pattern :confused: I know it was in my files, thats my story and I'm sticking to it! :p

I will hopefully be getting that splitter this weekend and trying my best to dull that blade out fast.

I will be contacting y'all shortly for the incedentals, measurements and all that fun stuff. :D
 
Heh Heh, I am SO there! MY double thickness Milt Sparks is about 6" too big now.

The only problem I've found is getting the leatherbenders to make a big enough loop to take a 1/4" thick belt.

Dwayne will now have first hand experience. LOL An e/m is headed your way bud.

A quick update from the depths of page three, I have been cutting belts and getting that darn splitter dialed in. When I get it all figured out I'll start sending out e-mails and getting the particualrs.

these splitters are not for the weak of heart! A real workout! :D:p

I can't tell if I have one on order or not. I know that we exchanged info regarding details, but I haven't heard anything for months!
 
Dwayne, emailed you a couple of days ago with some questions. One in regards to belts. I didn't see this thread until just now. So, what is up with this project? :confused:
 
Hey guys, I hadda put this one on the backburner as the splitter was not working properly and the straps were coming out all over the map in thickness. I'm supposed to be getting the replacement in soon and I hope a lot sharper than the last one :rolleyes: I'll be taking the replacement on a test run as soon as its in shop. If it works I will cut a run of belts that look to be just under 1/4" and 1.5" wide if all goes well. Got my fingers crossed that this one doesnt make me want to toss it out the window ;)

Hey mob, I replied to your message a while back, guess its lost in the ethers of the net. :( I'll re write it and get back to you very soon.

If I can find a fella with a roller die I'll try and do some basket weave, but by hand with that little tool just takes too long, on a sheath or holster is one thing, but on 35+ inches of belt its time consuming, but not impossible. It will cost a bit more, but it does look nice huh :)
 
I need to beat my kids!!!!!!!!!!!! Just don't seem right to beat them with the bondage paddle. :eek:
