Hi EVerybody,

Kind of off topic but I figure we all like cool things.

I mean we all like Busse Knives right ?

Found out about a cool very tough pen made here in the states.

& the guy behind it lives here in AZ !!!!

So after talking to him a couple of times I got one.

He says ;

Q: Is there a warranty?

A: " We stand behind our products. Tuff-Writer pens are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of their useful life. If you ever have a problem, we’ll do our best to make it right. While we don’t warranty the pen against intentional destruction, everything else is game. We call Tuff-Writers the toughest pens in the world for a reason."

I have met him & seams like a really cool guy that knows his stuff.

With all that being said & me being me, I thought I would see what

ME + Hammer + 2X4 + Tuff Writer = ?

Here are some pics With NMBFM content :D

oh & here is his web addy. :) Just for fun tell him you saw what Dave did to the pen

nice pen

i wish i had not left my surefire pen clipped to my pants in the dryer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to see this first hand and I have to say, this thing is pretty awesome. Not a mark on the ano after going through the 2x4. Definately on my wish list.

.

Looks pretty cool and is much cheaper than other similar types, thanks.

:D

Hey, nothing can beat my CS Sharkie!! It's a pen it's a self defense dildo, it's a boat anchor!!

Lollerskates!

I like that Tuff-Writer pen. It looks a lot less threatening than other "tactical" pens on the market. To my mind, making a covert weapon LOOK like a weapon defeats the purpose.

I actually like the idea of the Sharkie- I would get one if it didn't have the huge "COLD STEEL!" billboard on the side.

How thick is it? Like outside dimensions. I can't use a Bic or other skinny disposable pens b/c of a formerly broken wrist.

And how heavy is it? I can't use heavy pens either. I've taken to a Zebra Z-grip clickable lately. It won't go thru a 2x4, but I can write with it.

(My fear with a metal pen is what the Cross pen downfall was - 45lbs of pen in an itty-bitty package. Might as well been made of gold given the poor grip-ability of the Cross and heavy nature of it.)

They are really cool.

Cold Steal Sharky  Really ? :D:D

Hey Dennis here is the info off the site. Sounds like it would work out great for you ?

Seems that there's been a Huge flood of "pens" onto the market lately. This one looks pretty cool....but I have to admit, I'll stick with my Ti Hinderer. It's a tank and I have the option of swapping out attachments. My only complaint with it was that you couldn't put a full size refill in it but...he now has one that takes a full refill. Rick does some pretty cool stuff and his pen is top notch.

Thanks for the info David....a guy can never have to many gadgets!:D

A little time with some 200 -400 grit sandpaper and it doesn't say anything on the barrel. Lynn Thompson is a GENIUS!!! :foot:

Hahaha....That is a good one. Mine is so beat to hell from work carry that no sandpaper is needed. I happen to like the Sharkie because it is cheap and disposable.

I have a mil-tac pen that I like quite a bit. The Tuff Writer looks like a awesome pen. I really like the fact that it does not too tactical which defeats the purpose of being covert. I think I need one of those as well.:D

That's a cool looking pen and priced well compared to similar pens.

One questions though, does the cap fit on the other end while using it to write?

I am in the market for a nice pen and would like one that has the cap fitting on both ends so I don't lose it.

When's Busse coming out with a pen?(Course to be nuclear tough, it may be the size of a youth baseball ball LOL!!!) :D

Doesn't look like it will since it's a screw on cap. (One reason why I sold my hinderer for a Benchmade). Hinderer is a tank, but unscrewing the cap mades it hard to use easily at my work. I have to write a lot.

But for travelling, this pen looks to be a great option.

Busse Pen Death Chat :D:D:D:D

Sorry - couldn't resist, Cool looking Pen!
+1 on the Hinderer as well - that pen is killer & I think the world of Rick - class A dude.

I've been umming and ahhing about one of these for a while, I'm definitely picking one when I have the cash...

Thanks for the photos! :D

checked out the Timberline tactical pen and the Tuff Writer pen.. Timberline is cheaper and a bit more weight... $63 vs $79... Definately going to get one of these.. maybe both.. a functional tool, now that the airlines are taking my deadly defensive toe nail clipper!
