Im having an issue with side load popping pivot pin loose from washers.
Here are the steps I took..
Drilled 3/32 hole for pivot ( liners are 1/16 g-10 and 3/16 maple burl )
Drilled 5/16 hole for washer than installed washer.
Flipped over and followed my 3/32 hole thru washer.
I than used a #4 reamer on the washer.
Peened what I thought was good, sanded smooth and the pivot disappeared.
But when I tested side load the pivot broke loose. ( meaning the pivot could be seen again in the washer)
I'm thinking I may need a steeper angle on the reamer???
The #4 reamer has been fine for pins without the washer if that makes sense.
