Short answer, for Reapers no. Certainly for other models. This was just one way of selling them. Your numbers will stay with you, and will be used for all sorts of foolishness. With the limited supply of Reapers I would like as many people as possible to enjoy them. I will hopefully have my own soon.

I'd be happy to give my spot to you so you can have and enjoy one of your own knives...and I'd just take one later on in the series.
(I hate that makers so rarely get to enjoy the fruits of their own labor.)

Plus a person's post # in the said Scrimgeour thread is that person's permanent number in any and all future offering's by Mark, which may not include any knives at all (he did mention humiliation and foolishness as examples). He also confirmed that past Reaper winners who claim their Reapers will not qualify to win future Reaper assignments.
