I sent a Schrade knife in for a guy in my church for repair. Actually I sent three (1 for me and 2 for him). Two were sent back with no repair or anything. They were so old parts were not available. In the past they have returned the knife which was unable to be repaired with a complementary knife (Old Timer) which I thought was above and beyond the call of duty. That didn't happen this time but the older knife that was repaired was excellent. Whoever did the work did a great job. His son had given it to him and he wanted to keep it either way. I hope to give it to him Sunday at church. I know he will be very pleased. I told him Schrade would do what they could. By the way the knife is a Stainless (on the shield) with real nice jigged brown handles and the pattern of the Uncle Henry stockman with the skinny clip blade. It is a nice knife. I wish they would make that handle again. Great job Schrade.

Russell - Thank you for your kind comments. Our Consumer Service is one of the things that sets us apart from the competition. We don't believe in selling a knife or tool and then just moving on - we feel its our obligation to try to keep the consumers satisfied, as long as they own the knife - a lifetime of service and caring.

Thanks Tim for your reply. I gave the knife to J. R. yesterday at church and he was very will pleased. I have sent several knives for guys in my chruch to Schrade. They have always given good service. I enjoy my Schrade knives very much.
