i really like this knife, especially after the work i put into it, but i need to sell something and this has had the least use and i have another ASH with the same mod which i've used more.
i ground off the rear talon hole. it's much more comfortable now when chopping. still get a little pinky bite, but not nearly as much. way easier to throw too.
i put a nice convex edge one it. most of the coating smoothing/wearing near the edge is from sharpening. does have some smoothing around the center of the blade which you can kind of see in the pics.
i've only used it to chop a small branch and thrown it maybe a total of 20 times, all of which was before sharpening.
also put a penetrator tip on it.
mashed cat kydex, which has excellent retention. barely used, even less than the knife.
NO TRADES. i need the cash to fund a certification. domestic shipping via USPS priority with insurance. Paypal (+3.5%) or MO.
