Reason for spending $$$ on knives

Collecting high quality knives is cheap compared to custom guns. I won't even go into the grief about that from the girlfriend! :rolleyes:
 
Wait till you collect old girlfriends and or wives,,,,,anything is cheap compared to that
 
Why spend money on knives? Because they are so sharp and pointy and cool and stuff.
 
My Brother commonly asks me about why I spend so much on my guns (i'm only just starting to become a knifenut) :)

Answer's simple:
I buy what I want... sometimes i've got a reason to own it, sometimes I don't besides the fact that I just wanted one. I enjoy guns, and I think i'll enjoy knives... and i'm willing to pay for that joy. Remember when you were a kid and you'd spend a fortune on "useless" things like shortwave radios, mo-peds, and action figures?

Think about why you bought them, for the fun of it, for the joy, sure some of them were expensive, and sometimes you even had sensible justification for having one, but mostly it's just for kicks.

So seriously... what's the difference between little kids going to toy store and big kids going to the gun shop or cutlery center? :)
