[*]334dave gets a knife
[*]Friendship of Buck Brothers
Just to clarify, Dave is NOT guaranteed a knife

If I remember correctly the last person to win the membership drive won by quite a bit?
and 2,
Not everyone will be there to help... You will have the friendship of *most* Buck Brothers, they are a great bunch, but joining the BCCI doesnt automatically make someone your best friend. (trust me I've been there) Just a FYI thats all
I know this is getting longish but I got a few questions before making the plunge.
- Does the BCCI site have forums?
- What is Buck Inc.'s association with the BCCI?
- As a wannabe collector, can I find answers to my numerous questions once becoming a member?....For instance...What years did sheaths change, what's with the inverted blade stamps in the 70's, what's this 116 worth, what's up with the different colors and number or spacers.....(I'm not looking for these answers here, just wondering if the BCCI members are willing to share the info).
- Are you guys as much fun as the Clampers?
- and lastly, are the Wimmin' really as hot as the ones DarrylIS posted?
Mike
Forums? Dont think so.
Joe Houser is involved with the BCCI. Buck Family is at BCCI meetings usually. I think they support it to the top!

As a wanna be collector, yes alot of answers will be available, but there are alot of models that have to be updated yet on the BCCI site, and some model info isnt available as of yet. Theres alot of info that was never recorded and is only "guestimation"
Most BCCI guys will help, but you have to be careful who you ask for info...
Some will tell you lowball offer and then buy it out from under you before you know what happened... some on BF use back door techniques to buy knives cheap from newbies, before they know what they have... (here's a prime example)
everyone here will try to out hunt every other one here for a prime buck!!
Everyone doesn't do that, only a select few will do that to one another.
Clampers? No idea
wimmen??? Darryls Lied
You cant really go wrong for $20.00 or even $100.00
I joined the first year as annual member and then joined as lifer before my membership expired. Spend the $100.00 and save the $20.00
Don't forget you get Larry Odens consignment list as well, plus Knives 5% (life member), (10% annual member) (15%? non member) over cost I believe... You
CANNOT go wrong with that alone!!!!!!! That to me is worth the cost of the membership!
