Hello fellow KNiFE ADDiCTS!
Regarding my collecting endeavors, I am undergoing an existential crisis. I have recently developed the opinion that safe queens are downright purposeless; and all knives ought to be used.
(Click me for the Album) My Reate K-3 in MokuTi & Damasteel Tanto has been the safe-queen since September.
It's the sexiest pattern of Damasteel that I've seen. In my eyes, the MokuTi seems to resemble tiger stripes.
The flipping action and closure is similar to that of a Shirogorov - it flips with authority and drop shuts smoothly like they are on panes of heavenly ice. The centering is perfect with absolutely zero wiggle. I tried my best to capture the MokuTi, so I used two different cameras.
In Motion:
This knife has been carried less than 10 times and has only cut 3 pieces of kiwi fruit and pieces of string off my suits. There are very minor wear marks on the pocket clip, backspacer, and the edges along the body of the knife. Blade is in impeccable condition. Knife has never been disassembled nor sharpened. It is sharp as a scalpel.
Price: $700.00 USD (PayPal G&S)
These retail for $845.00, so you'll save a hefty amount.
Trades: Large/Small 21 / Mnandi in Damascus.
Shipping: CONUS preferred. international shoppers will have to pay for additional shipping, PLUS $10.00 handling charge.
Note: I reserve the right to accept or decline an offer to purchase based on my perception of the prospective buyer.
Note2: I bought this off BladeHQ.
