It has been 4 months since the last item "Horizon" came out. Reate's new item "D9" finally comes out. D9 series was designed by Reate's cooperative designer "District 9".

I like the looks of the spear point! They both look good in the Hinderer/Strider sense and yet still original. 7.7oz is heavy though!
 
that's a pretty good looking knife.
 
I'm not sure I understand, it this D9 same as the original D9? If not what's different. is it at dealers now?

All right.It is the same as the original D9-A. And it is at dealers now. Thank you.
 
Some of the changes from the original to the current model:

1. Milled pocket clip instead of spring clip.
2. Removal of sharp edges on stainless steel lock insert.
 
Thank you austonh and David. So the new D9 has the nicer machined pocket clip? These pic's are confusing as they show with old and new style. The machined clip makes the knife much more desirable in my opion. Secondly does anyone know where or when the new tanto will be available? I've looked around and can't find it anywhere.
