Reccomend assisted opening

I am a huge Kerhsaw/Ken Onion Leek fan - so this is somewhat biassed -

I have 4 Leeks (different :o ) and have illustrated reviews of all of them -

polished G10 S30V Leek

G-10 S30V Leek (matte version)

Kershaw Rainbow Leek - a pictorial review

Black "boron" Leek

You might also want to consider the new manual flipper Kershaws - JunkYard Dog (and model 2), and the RJ Martin Groove - where the manual flipper acts almost like a spring assisted opener.

Can you tell me where to find out about these knives??

I prefer Benchmade Apparition cause it can work both assisted open and manual. Otherwise Kershaw Boa, its got a well handle, useful blade shape.

My flash II is great.. its light and the handle is comfortable and secure to hold but theres very slight play in the blade.. nothing that worries me and the ao works very well. the blade sharpens up fairly well but its gettin on the large side for edc. I still do tho.

My kershaw g10 s30v is suphurb. very solid knife.. perfect size and the flipper works like it should. the grips do their job well and lock up is faultless.
blade bevel is a little too obtuse for my liking so ill be taking it down when ive got some time.

Ive just bought the heat on ebay so i cant say much but sounds ok from what ive heard.

just got my camillus heat today.... very nice knife regardless of price.
blade is razor sharp out of the box and lock up is solid with no movement.

quality wise.. id have to rate the kershaw leek first.. then the camillus.. then the sog.

the sog is the easiest to open but the blade on the leek has the most useful geometry for my use.

if i had to pick only one of the three... it would be tuff but id have to go with the s30v g10 leek.
