reccomend me a knife

The Becker BK9 is a great choice under $80 and everyone seems to love it. Other ones I've been looking at are the KA-BAR heavy bowie and the cutlass machete. I'm not sure what you think you'll be chopping, but most machetes are well under $80, so that is another option to consider, depending on where you'll be using and what you expect it to do.

A great sleeper is the Ontario 12" Cutlass machete, add some better handle scales and give it a convex edge, and it chops pretty well.
Another two options are the Ka-Bar Cutlass or Kukri machete's, the grinds make them more heavy than expected. Handles are kinda fat.
Ontario SP-8 Survival machete is very thick, fat wide edge is not the best slicer, but it's built like a tank.
Ontario offers plenty of other knives, but IMO, their idea of micarta scales need more contours, buy some 100 grit sandpaper.
Becker BK-9

+1 on BK-9
If machete is not your thing and budget is tight, check out Ka-Bar's new Zombie Killer line. I bought the War Sword and it's a very good chopper. Unlike BK-9, it's made in Taiwan though.

Becker BK9
Kabar kukri machete
Kabar heavy bowie
A wide range of machetes, hatchets, axes and tomahawks
... and so on. I like the BK9.

BK9 is a beast. LOVE mine. It chops better than you could possibly think it should. Ethan Becker is wise man for sure. I currently own 9 different Beckers & have come to the distinct conclusion, that if it says BK&T on it, it is worth buying. Yup, they are that good.

Other than Beckers, Ontario makes some great stuff. I can personally reccomend the SP8---simply awesome for $60, SP10, SP Kukri. KaBar also makes some great stuff. I plan to get the HD Kukri some day. I own the WartHog fixed blade. Great medium sized knife, but not a big chopper knife.
