I'm Mike I'm on a mission to try and have a very sentimental kitchen knife reworked. It's a cheap Serco stainless 8" chefs knife with a cheap plastic handle.
My hope is there is a skilled maker out there who can take the metal and rework into something completely new. I know nothing of metallurgy so if that is not possible I would need new scales and a cosmetic refresh of the existing blade, tip repair.
I'd appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction.
