Just to clarify, using the same name on multiple websites is fine; just don't use the same password with it. There was a fellow in my neighborhood who started a BBS just to get passwords ... he found an amazing number of people who didn't know enough to use a different password every time -- some even used the same password everywhere -- and he had all kinds of fun posting forged messages and getting everybody mad at everybody else and watching them fight ... for a while. He isn't online anymore.
