Congrats JurT. It's a great knife. Give it a good whipping and post some pics for us ;)

The scales look more like black canvas to me! try putting a little water or WD40 on it to see what color it is for sure. (if's black it will turn really black, but it's it's green you can tell that too.)

The previous owner said that this were the green magnum scales.

I think WM is correct. Looks exactly like the black mags I had on mine. I did have an HR with standard black scales that did look a hair green but, they were black. I think this was metioned in a thread recently about variations in color for micarta.

I also just got mine today (thanks again RWH!). Seems there have been a lot of HRs moving around lately. Mine arrived mint, a condition which will be remedied promptly.

Also, the micarta mag handles...SOOOooo nice. I wasn't sure what to expect...but they feel incredible (especially given my largeish paws). I'm think about getting that M6 sheath from the SRK site to facilitate field carry.

My first Busse! I finally understand...

Nice pics JurT!

Make sure to share some of the SFNO vs. HR :D

Did you say SFNO's...... as in more than one

JurT,
have fun with her. I may strip mine one day, after more of the coating has worn off. As I've mentioned in other posts, the HR throws very nice from a handle grip. Try it:)

Never tried throwing the standard handle HR but, the mag threw better with a blade grip. MAybe it was just me though as I prefer a blade grip for throwing in general.

I just love the MAG HANDELS on the Hell Razors!!

They feel so RIGHT in the hand  :D :D

How do you strip the coating and why would you? HR looks great, mine should be here in a few days.

With Jasco Stripper, and because naked INFI sharpens and cuts better (IMO). It is also a challenge to bring it to a nice polish, not to mention less expensive.

Less expensive than what? So if it performs better w/o the coating why does Busse put a coating on the blade? Is it just for looks, becuase I thought these knives are all about performance.
