Holy crap.. let me just say this. When I ordered my Zing from dave, it took almost 1 week to arrive (which is still fast, and there was a holiday and a Sunday wedged in there), but what happened with this CF Blur is simply ridiculous. On Saturday I sent dave $35 for a desert sand blur. He promptly emailed me back to inform me he was out. I decided to send some extra money go with the CF Blur blem. By the time I sent the remaining money it was probably 2-3pm Oregon time on Saturday. The Blur was waiting for me, in my mailbox in OHIO, today! I don't know if Dave bribed the mailman into working Sunday or what but that is just unbelievably fast.

Anyways, this knife is beautiful in every way. Good size, light weight, and just gorgeous to look at. I do wish it carried a little deeper in the pocket but that's a small price to pay on such a fantastic knife. I watched sticktodrum's review today on this knife and right now I am having trouble deciding if I should de-assist it. Don't know how comfortable I am about taking my knives apart yet.

Anyways, if you don't have this knife and you can afford one, buy it.

Yes! Glad you scored a nice piece man, excellent. I'll be doing a short video on deassisting a Blur later this week, so hopefully that'll quell some of the uneasiness in taking apart a blade. It's still a great knife with the Speed Safe, enjoy!

That would actually be really helpful if I do decide to do it. I did like how easily the blade comes out unassisted in your review. That's really my only beef with the Zing.

I had reservations after ordering about getting the blem. Kind of thought it was such a nice knife that maybe I should have the brand new one, but now I think I made the right financial choice for me. It'll be a user so being a blem doesn't bother me.

We all knew you'd love it! You made the right choice

Thanks! Props to dave's inventory for the nudge in the right direction lol.

Im thinking about buying another in a few weeks and de-assisting that one, and then deassist the CF if I like it. This forum is probably bad for my marriage.

Edit: by another, I mean a non-CF blur.

this forum is just bad for marriage.... i have yet to buy a CF blur, in the sense of a black CF blur. I have the green snap on one, and refuse to use it... I do have all the other 154 blurs tho, great knives, you made a great choice. Glad he didnt have the sand one, because u got the better knife

there, now its ur turn lol. just what i have currently

I will be picking up the CF Blur as soon as i can quit going to knife shows and spending my available funds! Good to know Dave is such a reputable guy

Then it seems he doesn't have them all. The burnt orange was CPM-154, as was the OD, and I believe another...

I never seen the od in 154, and didn't know the orange was either, looks like I'm on the hunt again

OD with the stonewashed blade (1670OD) is CPM154. The OD with the black blade (1670OLBLK) is not.

...and good luck finding an orange one. I think there are only 300 or so.
