So here are some comparison pics with both a CS Rifleman and Fiskars 14inch. As you can see the sweep of the edge on the Fort Turner is different than the Rifleman, and the whole package is compact. The edge still measures out to 3.5 inches, and the hammer face is roughly the same area. Pics are crappy because my camera is sans battery, so the Treo did the work.

It will get a thorough field test early next week. Took it out back and did some work with it. Initial impressions - it came sharp, much better edge than the CS, probably the same or slightly better than the Fiskars. It is much lighter and more compact than the CS, making for a faster and handier swing. It is shorter and lighter though, thus the CS strikes with more umph when chopping. I have not yet thrown it.
