I ordered my HAK utility on 10-4-07 from HideawayKnives.com. Immediately following my order placement, I of course jumped on the forums. What I found was a few people that were upset with the company and their c/s. A little worried I e-mailed William (the new operator of the company) and asked for a confirmation that my order will be shipped. The next day William returned with a note stating that everything was on it's way. On the 9th I received a package containing 4 company rulers, a bumper sticker, a ball chain for neck carry, 2 bags STUFFED FULL of different colored paracord and a few zip ties that fit the sheath perfectly. These items were all extras along with the straight utility model and items that I actually ordered. I just wanted to pass on my experience with this company and customer service. To all of my fellow L.E.O.'s this is a must have for back up. 1 day with this on the job and I am sold!

Well thats good to hear... I must be an idiot. I tried to place an order there today but after I got everything in my cart, I couldn't checkout/confirm order Should I give them a call, I sent an email
I'm glad to hear things are improving. I bought a utility model back in March of this year ('07) & got my knife with 3 weeks or so. Admittedly, it was one that was already made, but was waiting on a sheath.
I now work administratively, so I gave my HAK to my cousin (A Reserve Officer). He loves it.
I may get another one again, although I found a suitable replacement. It only has 1 finger hole & it's in D2, but for now it works. Its overall size, including kydex sheath, is smaller than the HAK.
For anyone in LE in the street, I highly recommend them.

I ordered my Tiger Claw Utility HAK on 10/17 and it was in the mail today. May have been their yesterday, forgot to check. It came with 3 rulers, a couple zip-ties, bumper sticker, and the "Courtesy Paracord Collection" which is six 2ft strands of different colored paracord for skinning my HAK. Gonna go do that now.
