Here is my RD9 Bush with a little work to the handle and added jimping.
I like it a lot, it has a nice thin grind and feels good in hand after removing some material.
Its bare bones design is super light for its size and makes a great pack knife.

That looks good!! The one (and honestly only) gripe I hear about this knife (and it's 1095 twin) is the blocky grips. Can we get a close up of the mod you did and maybe an explanation of how you did it? :)

The only knives which appeal to me in the Ontario Ranger series are the Shank and Shiv. It's mostly because they remind me of a militarized version of one of my favorite knives: the Green River Dadley.

I haven't got one because there's too much inconsistency with the handles. Seems like there's one version with a longer handle and one with a much shorter handle. I like the longer handle better and don't like the short handled versions AT ALL.

I suppose I could get one of the paracord wrapped versions and put my own handle slabs on it - I'm very capable of doing that - but I don't know if the paracord wrapped Shanks and Shivs have the holes drilled in the tang for pins like the micarta handled versions do.
