Received my two Ladybug Salts yesterday

I got the box with my two Ladybug Salts from Tom Berry yesterday. Amy and I love them! They will be attached via lanyard to our fly fishing vests.

The fit and finish is top notch for a knife that's so small it almost looks like it comes from a novelty shop. The difference however is in the details. Spyderco quality all the way. This is not a toy. It's a miniature high end knife that is rust free. You can't ask for more.

Here are some pictures to enjoy. Note that the grind looks wide but that is because the blade is so small. Both knives I got have top of the line action and dead centered blades. I have large hands and I can actually operate this knife with my thumb in the Spyder Hole. Awesome!

The Orange Military was in my pocket and the Mini-Grip is in my portable BOB at all times so I had them to use for size comparison.

Enjoy . . .

nice pictures! I have one on the way but I might order another one to give to my dad to put in his tackle box when he goes fishing

I love mine...but I need to buy another. The wife latched onto it because it's just so "cute":p Fantastically built little blade:thumbup:

I just got mine and my 2nd Orange millie from Tom today as well. Coincidence? ;)

I've been playing with mine. Lockup is tight, blade is centered, not bad for a sub 2" knife. Great job Spyderco.

I hear you :D I had to have the second Orange to stash for sure. It was the only way I could force myself to make one a user :jerkit:

Good thing I just went ahead and bought Amy one when I ordered mine because as soon as I pulled hers out of the box her first comment was "that's my knife from now on! It's SO cute!" And she has a ZDP Caly, a Sage, A white Mcusta and a mini Cyclone in her stash already. I guess the "cute" factor does mean something :D

Great photos, Reeek. I'm looking at picking up a Ladybug Salt soon. If you don't mind me asking, where exactly did you get them? I'm new to knives and am ignorant of where to get some good deals.

Yep. He can normally get any current production Spyderco model within 10-14 days.
Thanks a lot Josh. Man, I'm glad you guys are so friendly and helpful. It's a rarity among internet forums, haha.

Btw, I just checked out your paracord lanyard page and will probably order one from you when I get my ladybug this summer. I'd like to have something extra to grab while it's in my pocket. Do you burn the ends of the paracord at all or do you just fray them?

Not a rarity here. :) Unless you wander off into some of the looser areas. :D ;)

I can burn (sear) or fray. Neither will come undone or loose. I put a little bead of super glue under the last stitch. Holds things down tight.
