Received new to me xm24, questions/concerns?

Once you put the washers and new screws... you'll be all set!!
Yeah no doubt. I am having a hell of a time finding stuff though. I have yet to even see for sale (not even sold out) standoffs, and scale and pivot screws are sold out everywhere. any ideas?

Finding the accessories is half of the fun. Be patient, enjoy the thrill of the hunt and good luck. :)

Was so frustrated with the condition I just ordered a Large Sebenza 21 Double Stud from a retailer. Lol BNIB.... should have better luck with this one lol
First CRK too

I don't understand the worry about lockup really, yes I know it's a concern about a knifes lifespan but how many of us actually "wear out" a knife? Particularly a Hinderer, I've seen far more threads about lost knives here than anything, if I'm going to worry seems like that would be more of a real issue. Besides at the end of the day does it not do as it's designed for? As long as it cuts and locks then it certainly a good knife :)

I have one of those...but many wouldn't know that unless I remind them...even I almost forget I have it.

Ha no thanks, I already have a 24 so I'm not in the market. But I thought you said previously that you in no way wanted to get rid of it?

Lol..I've actully been looking for a beat up hinderer since I can't afford a new 1. If the price is right I'll take it!

Just like in the Facebook group, ***No Sales, Trades, or Want Ads in the group, thank you.***.

I I know it's always disappointing to not get what you expected, but if it's solid at 60 it'll be fine for many years. I'm also a little anal about the details of my knives. I focus on the "defects" and it keeps me from enjoying the piece.
Do you plan to use it? If so, get out and put your own wear on it and enjoy it.

I'm also a rhk Crk owner. If f&f is your main concern, the Crk is sure to please, especially bnib.

Now that I realize I need to look past the imperfections, I use and enjoy my knives so much more.

I think it looks great. It definitely doesn't need a ti scale, so don't increase the demand for them. ;)

It looks good for a used 24. The lock wear looks like it was used hard and possibly batoned as others have mentioned. That being said, it certainly should be good for many years of use!

I use my Xms a lot. Yours looks better than most of mine. Use it and enjoy it brother! Great knife. :)

Its not what you originally hoped for but it is a green light to use the hell out of it. If lock up is solid I'd be happy to know its such an awesome knife it was possibly abused and still in great working condition. Speaks volumes of Ricks work.
