Several months ago I was fortunate enough to get to The Ohio Valley Knife Show. Larry Bailey did an outstanding job - considering the somber feelings with the loss of Mick and Judy Koval.
I did manage to dent (severely) my wallet and managed to acquire a few knives: 2 by Fred Rowe (what a great gentleman), 2 by Roger "Mudbone" Jones, a Gene Loro Hunter, and an early Jim Downs liner lock. I also got an early boot dagger by a maker named Funderberg that my good friend AT Barr had on his table. I would also like to mention that I am fortunate enough to count Fred, Gene, Jim, Roger, and AT as friends - so the knives have a lot more meaning to me. The scrimshaw on the Rowe Knives is by my wife Diane.
Here they are...
Family shot: the physician's knife is a modern miracle...expertly file worked by Don Morrow.
