• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

been reading posts daily in emerson, and spydie forums. I came across some modded CS's and pics of Winklers Hawks, now i'm so excited to start owning and modding some hawks. I bought a Trench Hawk, but i think i'd like to start "staining/etching/ soldering". maybe some reprofiling. I think at $30 for these Cold Steels, its a really fun and much cheaper hobby than buliding another AR, or adding another $150 knife to the collection.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of proper ways to wrap with Para/Twine.. and etch /solder .. thanks guys

what tipe modes did you see on the winkler hawks?

I think (I hope) he meant moding the cs to look like the winkler hawks, because the front edge looks so wicked cool, but we are all on a budget these days.

i didnt mean i saw any mods on the Winklers, just that i saw what a refined masterpiece they are, and that pictures of those along with modded CS's and RMJ tacical stuff made me interested as hell in Tomahawks

I put some more detail on etching and other things on my CS Frontier post, too, if youre interested in some basic how-to stuff.
