Recent Knives

Dave, I hate to say it, but I told you so............. :D

:D Thanks Ray.

And thanks to the rest of you too; I really appreciate the compliments. I haven't really expected that, I'm always a bit hesitant to show my stuff here among all you knowledgeable connoisseurs... I wish there was a way to have you get them in-hand so you could really weigh the work. I've only had limited opportunity for that locally because there are no knife shows - just gun shows where there are only a handful of collectors to see my knives, and very few custom knives by others for me to examine. My friends and family are not only biased, they don't really know what the good stuff is like.

Thanks to Ray's encouragement I'm setting up at the Wolverine show in April, which will be my first opportunity to get real feedback from a variety of informed people. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm also scared spitless - just a little. ;) I'm taking the first two of these knives to the show; hopefully I'll get a few more made before then too!

Dave I still have the Cratchet you made me in the display case it is a work of art. It does not mater if your wife claims the items think of that as a positive she will keep them clean for you. How did your didgeridoo experiments go can you play them a song yet so they are not home sick.
There you go I have let your secret out your a man of many tallents.

barrrrwharrroooowarrwarr how do you write a sound?

:D Reg, you would cry if you heard me playing the didgeridoo! I sound like a sick goose with the runs. Maybe when it warms up I'll get into the yard again and try to make a movie of me and my awful noise... But for now I'm relegated to the bathroom when I get that beauty out - no one can stand to hear what I do with it! But it sounds "right" coming from the bathroom... :D
