I went for a bit of a hike today but instead of the usual scenery shots I thought I'd take a few of recent kit additions.
My Swiss Spirit....I never used to carry a multi-tool but I just love this, the handles are the most comfy I have found on a Multi-tool....
My Paramo hat/balaclava/neck gaiter.....yeah you look a bit of a freak but it's a real versatile bit of kit that takes up very little room, provides just the right amount of warmth on a cool winter day and can be vented at the top!
And some will have seen this before it's my cheapo stash knife....
If you out and about and have a sore throat/ cold, look for this Licorice Fern...
If you pull up it's root, shown below, and boil it up in some water to make tea or even just chew raw at a push, it will cure your sore throat and if you also add some pine needles they will give the tea Vit C and make a great cold fighter....it even tastes good !!!
And before anyone asks, of course Maisy came along !!!
