The leather is halftanned and lined with kydex.

Thanks for posting them Martin. Inspired me to try my hand at kydex! Made my own little press and built my first sheath ever this week. Not quite as polished as yours are but it looks o.k.. I'll try and post you a picture. I just had a comment/idea, when I was making my sheath. If you made a sheath a-sametric(sp) and the kydex is left removable for cleaning, you could potentially have the sheath be ambidexterous!

Martin, Your work just keeps getting better and better! My sheath from you is still in perfect condition with a lot of use! Your work is always top notch! I see that nylon drop leg is catching on!
