I have been waiting for several days for a new spyderco chokwe...which i was getting pretty excited about. Checked the mail at the shop today and there was the package. Like a kid on christmas I hurry back inside and tear into it. As i slide the box open i am looking at a brand new.........p'kal....ugh. Not at all what i was after. I called the company and let them know what happened. It is already in the mail headed back for a refund, because i dont trust them to ship the correct knife the second time around. Oh well, i will just throw a few more bucks on it and buy another zt 0550.

Sending wrong shipments happens all the time, is there something else about this vendor that indicates they are not capable of shipping the correct item after just one mistake?

So after one mistake you decide to throw in the towel?
Eh, I guess the ZT would be a better option.
The Chokwe is one helluva ugly knife.

I ordered a RAT RC-4 and received an ESSE 4. They're exactly the same knife but I got a great deal on it since I figured he was trying to move old stock.

Although a different situation, I'm sure it was a mistake on their part.

It was the second time in 3 months that they shipped me the incorrect item.

2nd time this has happened? sounds like you need to buy from a different supplier. I've never had that problem. I always buy from buy.com actually, they have great prices and always free shipping. Plus you can accumulate points to redeem for discounts etc

I usually buy from kershawguy because I love zt's. I think I will just stick with that.

It's happened to me before from a great store. I still order with them, I sent the knife back, it was in the wrong box too. Got a store credit towards another knife. I will still order from them.
