Recipes (Old Contest)

Didn't know the best place to post this question but I have always liked the "Pug" (I think that was it's name) and was wondering about the enlarged hole in the front of the handle, is this just aesthetic? or does it cut down on weight/help with a certain type of grip? I'd be grateful for any info from KYturkey, those who have handled it or John if you'd like to chime in.

thanks in advance,

Peter

I'm the original owner; I bought the knife expressly for a contest so I didn't use it, but did handle the knife. As John mentioned, the hole is for a pinch grip and it is very comfortable in the hand.

Ok gruntsoldier -

I have purchased a 7lb pork shoulder.

Doing the bbq pork pancakes - starting tomorrow with the brine etc.

Bump this to the top for some of the newer guys hanging around.

Also, because I had to look this one back up to make gruntsolider's pulled pork shoulder- good stuff!

I hope it's not a copyright issue because I've got the recipe saved on my laptop, desktop and usb drive ((just so's I don't lose it :))
