Hey guys,
This is now going up for sale. Asking $190 shipped WITHOUT the sheath.

My recluse is only a few months old and has only been used in the kitchen. I cut up some onions, a deer heart to pickle, and a watermelon and thats pretty much it. There is a light patina from the onions. I stropped this with white compound for about 5 minutes and it is shaving sharp. It has dark maroon linen micarta scales and is 5/32 O1 tool steel. Andy so graciously rounded off the bottom side of the pommel for me and I tried to show a close up for it. Thanks for looking guys.

FINAL PRICE DROP $175 shipped

No the email came just delayed around 15 minutes. So keep the ladyfingers coming!! lol

Love the Recluse man, and definitely want one too, but just now working a deal on my first Ladyfinger, just got it in hand recently, and it's one of the few stainless/guardless ones out there, (and I am loving it)... so nowhere near ready to trade it yet, and doubt I ever will be :)

Hmm, waiting anxiously to see this one.:o

That is really a beautiful Recluse. I'm partial to that design; it's the knife that led me to Fiddleback Forge and this forum. If I had a Ladyfinger to trade, I certainly would.

Whoever winds up with this blade is getting a great score!

Here are a couple pics. They aren't very good but I hope they help.

Wow! Look at that recluse! What ever happened to 'little in the middle but got much back'?!

Dave, and now the question: which do you like more? :)

That is such a difficult question when asked about Andy's knives. The Recluse handle is slightly more comfortable for me overall. That is only because It's a little larger. That said, I prefer the Ladyfinger. I bought the Ladyfinger with the intent of using it strictly for kitchen duties at camp, hunt trips, etc... I will probably put the Recluse up for sale in a few days. I actually really like the Recluse, however, I must sell one to buy one lately. There still are a few of Andy's line that I haven't tried. I am certain I'll own another Recluse soon. For now the ladyfinger is doing exactly what I need it to do and feels and looks great doing it!!

I hope that wasn't too confusing. :D
