Recluse for sale $175!

Dave, those are some great looking knives! I especially like the Spalting? on the Recluse's blade.

The blade shapes of those two knives is really close. Aside from the Ladyfinger having more of a drop point, they look the same to me. The handles though, are quite different. Both look great, the Ladyfinger reminds me more of kitchen knives that I've seen. I have Medium sized hands and figure that either would work for me. I can see why you'd want the Laqdyfinger for kitchen use.

The Ladyfingers more curvy handle really speaks to me in that picture. There's something about it that's very eye catching. I've been thinking of saving up for a Recluse or Ladyfinger. These pictures have me leaning more and more to the Ladyfinger.

The Ladyfinger feels like a smaller version of my Woodsman. It also feels similar to a "Mora Companion". I have a few of those beacuse they are so cheap and work well as inexpensive kitchen knives at camp. I bought the ladyfinger beacuse of the design and the thin stock. This is a dream to use for food prep.

Last year, I had a ladyfinger in for custom fitting. Then a few months later, I had Hunter and Woodsman in the shop for fitting. Got the impression that the Ladyfinger was a small Woodsman, or the Woodsman was a Large Ladyfinger. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who thinks this. :) Thanks!

I'd love to get both a Ladyfinger and Woodsman. Would let my mom try them both out and keep which ever she likes better in the kitchen. I remember her being quite impressed with those two models when they were in for fittings.

Hey guys,
This is now going up for sale. Asking $190 shipped WITHOUT the sheath.

My recluse is only a few months old and has only been used in the kitchen. I cut up some onions, a deer heart to pickle, and a watermelon and thats pretty much it. There is a light patina from the onions. I stropped this with white compound for about 5 minutes and it is shaving sharp. It has dark maroon linen micarta scales and is 5/32 O1 tool steel. Andy so graciously rounded off the bottom side of the pommel for me and I tried to show a close up for it. Thanks for looking guys.

FINAL PRICE DROP $175 shipped
