Recomend a $10 Knife?

It seems many are fixated to 10$ requirement, forgetting other specs. Kudu doesn't fit in, blade too long, and not stainless handle. No clip as well. The most fitting one is still 763 aluminium (not stainless, but metal), right blade size, fully ambidex, comes with pocket clip that's movable for left carry.

I'd say the G10 version is strong enough (if strength is concern), plus it's more grippy. Don't have the aluminium version, so can't comment on the smoothness of it.

Coldsteel does the Hold Out series linerless on G10, and it holds up well. OP shouldn't worry about the G10 of 763. Mine has been dropped accidentally many times, it goes strong, no issue. I have even removed the backspacer, and it's not affecting strength for my daily use.

Funny how few people read the original question. Out of all the answers only the Sanrenmu 763 possibly fits the requirements. Spend a little more, and the Byrd line will do.

if you already know the answer you want why ask at all ?

I got the aluminum version, thought the knife looked a lot nicer in Al than in G-10 (or G-10 textured FRN, as some people think the 763 is). The scales are pretty smooth, not quite as slick as Spyderco stainless steel but definitely slicker than Benchmade's anodized aluminum.

+1 for the 763.
It is my EDC. No excuses for cost or country of origin.
Fully ambidextrous and has the added bottle opener feature that seals the deal.
