Recomendation? Emerson wave knife to replace sebenza

CQC7 great knife i have one, but sebenza feels better for some reason then you hold it . :D

Delica with the wave. It was my first knife, and it's still my favorite knife.

I would not compare an emerson to a sebenza!

+1

Sebenza's and CQC's were designed with different purposes in mind. What do you intend using this knife for? Mr Emerson gave his CQC knives that name for a specific reason - IMO they perform reasonably well at GP/utility tasks but they are not optimised for them

If you like the Wave feature then consider a Waved Endura or the smaller Delica. Please remember that extra care must be taken when unpocketing a Waved knife if you don't want it to open.

sebs are great knives, the F&F on them is as good as many (most?) customs, i've never been a big fan of the ergo's though, i prefer the handle on a lot of knives to the the seb.

the cqc-8 is great, but if you compare it to the sebenza it is a lot more agressive. I'd go with the smaller version of the cqc-8, the horseman. It looks and feels great.
You can read this post about some of the punishment I put it through.

bspooky, I think a great option for someone looking for a small edc, would be the new CQC-7AW that is brand new on Emerson's website. A classic proven design, spear point vs. tanto, wave and stonewash finish. Plus, it's an Emerson if that's what you're looking for. Here is a link for more information. http://emersonknives.com/ekCQC7AW_SF.php if I can do that.

I would get a Sage 2 or a Gayle Bradley. The Gayle needs some mods to really make it work tho'.
