First post here guys so I am sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, I recently archived my eagle scout, with a lot of help and support from my dad, and I want to have a custom knife made for him, I have around 90 bucks which I know is very little for a custom knife. But I was wondering if you guys knew of someone who makes good affordable knives to the customers specifications, I don't have a job so don't suggest anything much more expensive. Also a fairly quick turnaround time is important as well.

This is a forum where we teach you to make your own if you want to learn and are not a D-bag about it. You are not going to get much with 90 bucks from a custom knife maker, however 20 bucks in steel from Aldo, a couple of files for shaping, if it's your first and you are polite someone might heat treat it for free, a nice piece of wood and you have a knife that will be truly special to give. A much better achievement than any merit badge to have actually made a tool that will last

This greatly depends on the knife style you're after. Length/shape/handle materials. Send me an email and maybe I can help. You'll have to look at my profile, should be left side.

Welcome to shop talk. As page noted , Shop talk is about making knives. Selling and solicitation is not allowed. What I would suggest is you filling out your profile with the info on age, location, interests, etc, and then posting a new thread asking if someone near you would be willing to help you make a knife for your dad. This has been done many times before ,here.

I am going to close this thread, and I hope you will consider doing the things suggested.
