Hey everyone - I recently bought a ZT0562ti, and I’m strongly considering customizing it by either anodizing the handle, or getting it laser engraved. That handle is just a giant blank slate waiting to be personalized. I’m especially partial to the Join or Die logo, and that would be my first choice (similar to the custom sebenza). Who do you guys recommend for this type of work - I’m sure there are plenty of places people have had great experiences with.

Thanks!

Chris

For Bladeforums vendors, I'd like to recommend @whitty but I'm not sure if he works on knives after the initial sale...he does great laser/ano work from what I've seen though.

Thanks! I actually came across his site and the work looks good, but I haven’t seen anything concerning ‘after the fact’ knives on there. If I don’t come up with other good options, I will reach out to him.

Usamadeblade only anodizes and laser engraves knives purchased from them, before they ship them to you.

You should reach out to WValtakis WValtakis as I’m sure he could take care of you. His work has been shown off on numerous members knives here.
I'd certainly be happy to discuss engraving it if the OP decides to go with hand engraving instead of CNC laser:thumbsup:

i actually followed up with a local tooling company that had a CAD laser engraver. asked if they could do a design for me and they charged about $10.. yes ten.. idk why people charge an arm and a leg for laser engraving

Thanks! I'm definitely interested in having a discussion with you about this. I think it's just a lack of understanding on my part of what I really want in terms of the process that gets me to an end goal. Maybe laser engraving isn't for me, and your services would be better! What's the best way to open a conversation with you directly? I'm new to the forum, and was just poking around, and didn't see any direct message button. But maybe i'm missing it.
