recommend a concealable 4" 1911 w/ "short" frame

wow thanks for the advice everyone!

i haven't looked at SIG ARMS yet-- i didn't know they manufactured 1911 style weapons. but the C3 and other "compact" lineups they have look very tempting.

The early SIGs had a pretty bad reputation but the C3 is getting better reviews. One thing that turns me off to the SIG is the external extractor, Kimber had a huge problem with them.

Aren't most Sigs external extractors? They are a different company than Kimber so their knowledge and expertise should be different.
