Recommend a knife for my brother?

I forgot to check back in...but, I ordered the Byrd Cara Cara in G10.

I looked at the Storm II at Wallyworld, and though it looked very nice, I wasn't sure if he would like the liner lock.
Something odd though: I believe the package stated it is made in China (it isn't an issue, just something I noticed).
I know he had a Buck (probably a 110) years ago, and I considered that as well, but he seems to prefer a knife with a pocket clip.

The cost of the Byrd is only $26 shipped. Seems like a darn good deal!

The Byrd line is made in China, that's how Spyderco makes 'em so good and so cheap. But do not confuse with CCC! :p Though it's supposedly Spyderco's low-end line, many of them blow other more expensive "high-end" knives out of the water, as you will see in the reviews section.

Well, I received the Cara Cara...what a nice knife!

It is substantial in both length and weight, with a smooth opening action and a loud, positive snap.
The handle is surprisingly comfortable.
It looks nice, and "feels" like good quality.
I shipped it to my brother yesterday--I think he will love it.

Makes me want a Meadowlark in G10 (I have the FRN model).

Mr. Glesser has outdone himself...amazing.

You can find both the Endura and Delica for under $50 shipped on Ebay. I've purchased both for $37.99 +$4.95 shipping from Ebay in the last week. The gentlemen selling them is listed under knifeconnection.

Well CRKT has a great line of solid great quality knives for an everyday guy and they dont cost a whole lot! I have a Benchmade Griptillian and a Spyderco. i paid about 70buick s for each one. I bought a CRKT M16-10 Zytel! for 20bucks it has Aus4 steel it does anything my Benchmade and Spydie will do just as good if not better! the handle is Zytel which is virtually indestructable! its solid and its big but not bulky, very easy to carry. i have pretty big hands and this knife is a comforting joy to use wherever when ever!!!
