Recommend a knife roll or something like that

I tried a couple of different knife rolls and pouches just didn't like them. I bought a chest to put some of my knives in. There are variations of them ranging in price from $60 to several hundred depending on the materials and workmanship. Here's a few links, there's more if you look for them.

Those Sack-Ups really are quite nice. I have some of the 18, 12, and 9 models. The 18, 12, and 6 versions really are too narrow to hold most tacticals. The Protector-10 has some wider sleeves and some narrower. The Protector-9 is all the wider sleeves.

I do wish they made a roll that was tall enough to handle the longer folders. I'd love to have a Sack-Ups roll for my Aftermath, Maxx Bowie, and Sifus.

I somehow missed that it was a double row.
I kinda thought you might've, but since I gave a link, I figured you'd looked at it and just slipped a button on your calculator! :)

Whelp, I ordered up the Protector 9 and Protector 10 from KnivesPlus. Never ordered from them before, but they were cheap and they had a smooth steel that I've been looking for... I'll let you know how they work.

Got the Protector 10 and Protector 9 today.

Whoever said that the small Sack-Ups sleeves are too small for many knives was right. My SAK is the only knife I have that fits comfortably in them. I managed to get another one in there, but it was a stretch. The Protector 10 is half small sleeves and half large sleeves. The Protector 9 is all large sleeves.

For some perspective, my Chinook barely fits in the large sleeve, and my D'Allara was even tighter. The large sleeves are perfect for "normal" modern folders.

The Sack-Ups are a great deal, and they do what they're supposed to. I'm not too clear on how to tie them up with the strings, so I just kind of wrap them. The only problem I found is that the velcro dots are just glued on, and they dont stick all that well. So one is already presenting something of a sticky mess. Truth be told, I don't think the Sack-Ups need the velcro at all; they probably should've left off the dots. But it's not a big deal. I'll just stop picking at them...
