Recommend a maker for a custom kitchen knife

J.P Holmes makes some killer kitchen cutlery.Also some neat fillet knives.My wife has a kitchen full and sometimes she lets me use em.
I think he has signed up on BF under JPH Knives.

I have heard good things about Kyocera ceramic knives and Global.
Any thoughts?
I have also been looking at George Tichbourne and his custom jobs. Prices seem to comparable, and I would just like to have some other opinions.

P.S. Sorry about asking about mass produced knives in this section, but I was trying to stay on a simalar idea.

Any information, to a guy who has been using $10 sets for so long he can't see straight because I am too picky, would be greatly appreciated

Neil is right, George Tichbourne does great work. I have several of his knives and wish I had more. Very tough and solid knives.
