I collect traditional folders and fixed blades and always generally hated how aggressive, tacticool, just plain ugly or thoughtless most modern knives look. Lately though some modern folders have really been catching my eye. It started with the basic large Sebenza and I noticed a similar design quality ("aesthetic") in a few others....

Top to bottom: Sebenza, Artisan Sirius, Quietcarry Waypoint, Grigorev Iceberg (amazing custom in the sales section)
I guess I am really drawn to this kinda space-agey yet sterile look. Things that look like they belong on the tray at the dentist's office
. Is there a name for this type of design (other than "minimalist", which seems way over-applied)? I really want to pick something like this up as my first modern, good quality carry knife. I'm not sold on any particular model just yet.
Generally speaking, I think I prefer titanium, no inlays, framelock, 4+ inch body, smooth over quick action, traditional blade shape, no flippers sticking out, no curve to the overall shape, budget around $500 max. But really I would like to see anything that you think participates in this visual style. I'm brand new to this world so I'm thinking there are many more...
