Recommend an EDC folder with contoured grip/scales

I'm looking for a sub-$100 EDC folder along the lines of a Mini Griptilian or CRKT Drifter that has some "roundness" in the grip area. While I appreciate the slimness of flat scales on a knife, I just don't get along with the feel of them like I do a grip that has some width and contour to it.
Any suggestions?

When I read the title I thought griptilian right off, I would still say that's your best bet.

Since you enjoy the feel of a Benchmade, you may consider checking out the 950 Rift. Great EDC knife and very well made. If features G10 scales that are deeply contoured.

Camillus Jolt ..... 3.25 inch D2 steel blade with DLC like coating, Carbon fiber sculpted handles, hollow ground modified wharncliffe style blade shape.... just a fantastic knife for the money.... runs about 65.00

hard to tell from the picture, but it actually has a very much rounded off profile to the handle....feels great in the hand.

Boker Marlowe Bullpup
IMO, its fantastic for $90. F&F on mine is awesome, great materials, almost looks like a custom. Not a lightweight by any means at 5oz., but it has nice balance. VG-10 is easy to sharpen and takes a screaming edge, hollow grind makes it a good cutter considering the thicker blade stock. Just a really nice piece.

The Injection and Vantage Pro both have polished 3D milled G10 scales as well. If you find one second-hand, there's also the Speedform II. There's also the Link, Blackout, Volt II, OSO Sweet, and Shenanigan are a few FRN-handled ones that are also rounded. And, of course, there's the Griptilian, which you already mentioned. Those are the ones that come to mind at the moment, and all are well under $100.

The Svord Peasant isn't exactly rounded, but the handle is relatively thick and fills the hand well. Similarly with the Buck 110.

If you like the Rift and are looking for a smaller knife/blade, there's always the BM 300CN flipper. It's also one of those tank built knives and also has contoured G10. Opens like any other AXIS, flipper can be used easily and quickly and has all the BM design preferences in a small and built package. A 5 oz package with a stout 3" blade, all beefy. A beefy flipper.

Really an underrated knife that gets a bad rap. Limited in style due to its limited popularity but also can be had at a low price, like half if you're lucky. As it was being offered for almost half, I picked one up, then another since another was selling for half. I have both plain and serrated, and dyed one black just because I had another. Came out very nice to me. The handles also feel fantastic in the hand.

Really a great Benchmade.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, gentlemen - I've got lots to look into. I sure wish there was a decent knife shop nearby (Raleigh, NC) where I could put my hands on some of these blades.

BTW, having not actually fondled one yet, are the scales on the Griptilian complete flat-sided or do they have some contour?

Whitty (usamadeblade) is in Salisbury, NC. A little bit of a trek, but if you're ever in that direction its definitely worth dropping in.

I purchased the realsteel h7 other day. It's a lovely knife to handle and the build is slightly better IMO than my lionsteel. It is a pretty big and weighty knife though

The BM Barrage or Mini Barrage would be another option. Couple different blade configurations are available. Probably have to pick one up used to keep it under $100, though. New they're just over that price point.
