Can someone please recommend a nice 4"(give or take) folding knife for under $100, thank you.

I am actually looking at this too.

Benchmade 710, Benchmade Rift, Spyderco Military, Spyderco Endura, are good places to start.

Thank you for those great choices. That Spyderco Military is definately a must for me. I might even get that rift.

i believe the plain edge millies are a little over the $100 mark. i saw a orange millie for $120 plus the shipping. the black scaled one was $137 plus shipping.

big ups for both the military and 710. slight edge to the 710 for edc if you dont wear gloves a lot, if you do wear gloves edge to the millie.

Spyderco Endura4
Kershaw/ZT 0350
Kershaw JYDII Comp.blade
Benchmade Griptilian
Buck/Strider 889
All of these are great blades

i would love to try a kershaw but i have not had the chance.

beyond that, my advice is get a Buck 110. i just got one and its great, although its note really 'tactical' if that is of any interest. for me it does not matter at all.

a bit more money will get you a fallkinven PXL. that is really a great knife.

under $100?

spyderco manix2 (3 3/8") $85+shipping
kershaw g10 tyrade (3 3/4") $80+shipping
kershaw jyd2 composite (3 3/4") $75+shipping
spyderco endura (3 3/4") $75-???+shipping **certain combinations will be more than $75

Spyderco Military is within $15-$20 of that and is probably my favorite knife of all time.

Others:
Endura
Pacific Salt
Benchmade 710 (if you like recurves)
Manix 2

Contact kershawguy (you can find him in the dealer's sub) and see if he has a ZT0200 blem.

Benchmade Rukus, okay so it's a tad over $100.00:eek:

I can't seem to get used to serrated edges, they tear up your thumb when doing any type of paring, like stripping insulation.
My favorite large locker is still my old LB7. I carry a smaller Gerber locker in my pocket and have for 20+ years, great little knife. I never had much luck getting an edge on a Buck, or keeping it there.
