I ride a Cbr900rr.....my EDC on a motorcycle is a ZT561....seriously, for its size...I forgets I'm carrying it.

New to this hobby, only have a Glock Model81 , a ceramic fruit knife(3") and a stainless steel fruit knife (4").

Any good EDC knives (preferably folders with clips to go into the pocket) that are not too expensive ?

I do some motorcycling daily so not sure if clips will hold it suecurely in place

owch... 250USD ...

man, I would like to add that i have a budget of around 50 USD (+- 25 if the deals a steal~ )

Gravitating toward the kabar dosier and kershar 3/4 ton but gawd the skyline is just perfect cept the price in my area turns me off completely.

The ka-bar dosier is an incredible value, it bought one for my daughter, and when it arrived immediately ordered one for myself.

To answer some of your questions, a serrated blade is great at slicing and sawing motions and serrations will cut for a long time, especially against fibrous materials. The disadvantage is that they are an icredible pain to sharpen. It's a matter of preference if you prefer serrated, combo, or plain. Personally, I'm a plain edge guy for ease of sharpening.

Regarding the knives mentioned, the Dozier, RAT 1, Zancudo, and anything Kershaw are all great buys.

If you like the 3/4 ton, I seriously recommend the Kershaw cryo 2, it is my favorite knife I own, and I have spyderco pm2 and a zero tolerance 0200. Just can't bring myself to use it. I'll be getting every version that gets released.

I found a 3/4 ton for $8 plus shipping. Look around and you too can find this deal. I don't think the site is a supporter of this site so I'll not link it here.

If you're looking to spend approximately $50, Cold Steel's Code-4 knife (and any other tri-ad model: Recon 1, Voyager, Lawman, etc.) is very difficult to beat at that price point. Cold Steel' Aus-8 steel and lock is far superior to the steel and locks found in other knives around that price point.

However, I recommend saving up an additional $50 and purchasing a used Benchmade or Spyderco off the exchange for around $100. There are many great options, including the BM Mini-grip, BM Grip, and Spyderco Sage 1. You'll get much more bang for your buck this way in terms of steel, build quality, and warranty.
