Recommend me a cheap, small folder that

Type in NAVY on the bay. These folks build the Byrd line and offer there own brand of knvies in the NAVY line. I own 3 and about as fine a made compression lock folders as I have ever owned. Hihg end and precise machining, 440c steel and razor sharp etc.etc. I think I might have a total of 25 bucks invested in all 3 combined.

Next here on the forums in the dealer for sale section Chesnut Ridge is having a sale on the RAT1 folder. Extremely well made folder and for 24 bucks plus shipping it is a bargain to be had. keepem sharp

Was in the same boat myself. Found a good deal on a Kershaw Vapor I PE online, and I've heard it's a great work knife. Plus, Kershaw's customer service gives you that extra peace of mind.

Kershaw Mini Cyclone. On Sale at KC from $49.95 to 29.95. I picked one up and it is a great knife for 50 let alone 29.

I like my blade tech ganyana lite its a fairly tough blade(thick) hollow ground and is pretty durable. i also like my trance as well. both are cheap small knives that are pretty handy plus there is the katana lite from blade tech too. the blade techs are slightly difficult to find but not too bad and come in alot of cool colors.

[...]or if you want something that locks try out an Opinel

Folk more into synthetic handles and high-tech looks typically ain't too receptive to Opinels and other more old-world type stuff... even if they're affordable and functional.

This one, one of the few real bargains in the knife world ($35 for the pictured version at Ragweedforge and the oak one is only $30), the Eka 88:

It's very, very good. You can tell that this company has 100 years of experience.
If you're interested, I made a little video about it (and another EKA), so you can see it from all angles.

Or else:
Opinel 7
Boker Plus Trance
Rough Rider Trapper
Victorinox alox Soldier
or a bit bigger the recent Boker Plus G4

NAVYtm makes the Byrd line of knives? They have a lot of knockoffs.
