My favourite folder within your budget is the Ontario RAT 1 or 2.
You could also pick up a Buck Vantage or Spitfire (both models come in two sizes.) Might be worth checking out what Cold Steel offers in the <$75 CAD range as well. If you have any shekels left over, I highly recommend adding a Swiss Army Knife: one of the most useful pocket knives one can own, IMO. Many models/tool configurations to choose from--pick a flavour!
But if you're able to save a little longer, the Spyderco Delica is one of the best EDC type folders ever designed (in my opinion of course) and one of my personal all-time favourites.
